MTEA ACTING

unites our acting community through the sharing of experiences and resources,  facilitating pedagogical conversations, and networking with like-minded individuals. We also collaborate on ideas for MTEA Acting Day, a part of our annual conferences.

MTEA Acting brings together actors, directors, educators, and more as a community of members who are passionate about teaching acting!

MTEA MUSIC DIRECTORS

cultivates a supportive community dedicated to uplifting the profession of being a theatrical music director and sharing ideas about our ever-changing discipline. We share best practices, ask questions, participate in programming.

Members’ backgrounds include a variety of approaches and types of employment, including: commercial theatre (Broadway, off-Broadway, Regional, tours), community theatre, and educational theatre. All levels of proficiency are absolutely WELCOME!

MTEA VOICE

is designed to bring community and pedagogical access to voice teachers everywhere! Celebrating the vast and varied world of voice pedagogy, this group routinely holds webinars with esteemed speakers to collaborate on new ideas, and enjoys breakout sessions and workshops during MTEA Voice Day at our annual conferences.

Join this group to get to know your colleagues in the field, as well as sharing in our love of the voice!

MTEA DANCE

is a beneficial resource for dance educators to share thoughts and ideas about what is working / not working when training a musical theatre dancer today. We share dance ideas, curriculum, and pedagogies that are working in the classroom.

MTEA Dance members meet on Zoom throughout the year, and enjoy Dance Day at our annual MTEA Conferences.
