This narrative study shares female Broadway producers' first-hand accounts of the challenges they face in the industry. All participants have served either as a lead producer or co-producer on Broadway in the past twenty years. Aspiring producers interested in learning more about specifically producing in New York City or current producers wanting to include more diversity and inclusion in their work would benefit from reading the findings. All genders will also gain insight into female producers' perspectives. This research may also be helpful to other theatre professionals in the areas of directing, acting, composing, and scenic design. People in other industries, including film, T.V., and radio, may benefit from reading this study.
