The article examines the capturing and distribution of illegally filmed videos of Broadway and other professional theatrical productions. It includes interviews with Broadway producers and performers as well as students and instructors of musical theatre and discusses how, in many ways, these videos can have a positive effect on broadening the audience demographics for live performances and creating future generations of live theatregoers.
